In the quest for reducing air conditioner power consumption and improving air quality home owners are discovering the benefits of closeable ceiling registers and vents.

Condor, a pioneer in using closeable ceiling registers to facilitate good efficient venting of rooms in dwellings, is now manufacturing metal units to replace the problematic plastic type.

Homeowners, residing in plasterboard lined dwellings, in particular asthmatics, are the first to notice a sense of freshness and well being after installing the Condor closeable ceiling registers.

These units are also used in conjunction with evaporative type air conditioners in directing the displacement volume into the roof cavity, rather than out doors and windows. This contributes to rapid cooling of the dwelling in general at no extra cost.

Condor closeable ceiling registers promote a healther indoor environment by purging by promoting better air quality and creating a more truely energy efficient dwelling.

For example an average size bedroom, ( 3 x 4m), would use a PP300 which can adjust down to a trickle flow before closing.

The Condor registers can be used in a both dedicated and non dedicated manner, depending on the nature of the situation.

Operation of the Condor registers is performed without ladders or chairs by using a special claw on the end of a broom handle

The Condor ceiling register uses a stainless steel/ nylon slide mechanism developed by Condor and has a lifetime failure warranty.

Eaves Vents serve a much needed fuction in supplying the roof attic area with the replacement volume. Without them the efficiency of the roof ventilator would be somewhat compromised.

The Condor HiFlow Eaves Vents are manufactured in stainless steel and are also ideally suited to high fire risk areas.

The EV units are located around the roof periphery in such a manner so as to create an even and balanced air ingress to a central covergence egress.

Eaves vents placed too close to the roof ventilator location will introduce a short circuit flow and should be avoided.
